A heart-warming new menu at Hotel du Vin

With dark winter evenings and a chill in the air, Hotel du Vin St Andrews has launched a new menu prix fixe to take diners into Spring.

Inspired by French regional classics, the two and three course menu is fantastically well priced and full of warmth and comfort designed to help combat the British winter.

The new menu showcases regional favourites from across France, including Maquereau poêlé which is seared mackerel with a Normandy horseradish crème fraiche. Other hearty mains include Moules a la Bouillabaisse, mussels in a tomato and fennel broth, which hails from Marseille, a region renowned for its fantastic seafood and Mediterranean influences. Other favourites include Pissaldiere which is a caramelised onion and anchovy tart from the region encompassing Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur.

Each dish has been carefully chosen by Hotel du Vin’s talented chefs for its depth and flavour and with warmth in mind. These quintessential Gallic classics are designed to be eaten with friends in the convivial Hotel du Vin bistro setting.

SausageThe seasonal flavours of the new menu also pair impeccably with Hotel du Vin’s extensive wine list. Skilled sommelier’s are also on hand to pair regional dishes with the best French wines.

The new menu prix fixe will run from January to March 2015. Two courses start from £14.95 and three courses from £16.95.

The new menu prix fixe is available at St Andrews.
